When to go to Mauritius
Mauritius enjoys a typically tropical climate although the southeast trade winds help mitigate the humidity. The best time to visit is the dry season from May to early December when temperatures are a little cooler. Avoid January and February which are peak cyclone months and not good for diving. July and August can get windy especially on the east coast.

Your passport must be valid from the period of the intended stay until arrival back in your country of residence. Tourist visas are granted upon arrival and are valid for 60 days.
